Singles Walking Holidays

Walking is growing in popularity and walking holidays are a great way for singles to meet. Just4you Holidays www.just4youholidays.co.uk specialise in activity holidays for singles and have organised a series of walking weekends and holidays in the UK and abroad. Some singles walking holidays are run alongside a photography holiday. Last weekend a group of 10 photographers and 15 walkers enjoyed a weekend in the Malvern Hills. The accommodation was the lovely 3 star Abbey Hotel, right in the heart of Great Malvern. The weekend started with introductions in the bar, followed by dinner. On Saturday there was a 9 mile walk straight from the hotel and up onto the Malvern Hills, reaching the Worcestershire Beacon. There was a short pub stop around lunchtime, although a packed lunch had been provided and this was enjoyed in a picnic on the hills, enjoying a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. On Sunday, the walk was around 7 miles starting from British Camp and ending at the Malvern Hills Hotel for a drink before heading off home. Packed lunches are provided on both days. This is a great value weekend at around £200 (single rooms are £30 extra). This weekend will be offered again in October this year and is run around 3 times a year. Just4you Holidays also organise walking holidays abroad for singles and the Tuscany holiday in September is a big hit. See the Just4You website for details of both the Malverns photography weekend and the Tuscany walking holidays www.just4youholidays.co.uk.

Photography Holidays for Singles

Photography is growing in popularity. The price of digital cameras and especially of digital SLRs has opened up the world of photography to far more people. For single people who want to learn or improve their photography skills, signing up for a photography course can be a bit daunting. Just4you Holidays www.just4youholidays.co.uk specialise in activity holidays for singles and have organised a series of weekend photography workshops in the UK and abroad.
The holidays are suitable for complete beginners who have just aquired a digital SLR or those who want to improve their understanding of what their camera can do. It is also popular with those who want to improve their composition or who just want to spend the weekend with other singles interested in photography.
The group size is always limited to around 10 so that you get some one-to-one tuition and help and advice. A photography weekend for singles is often organised alongside a singles walking holiday. In the evening the photography group and the walking group can dine and socialise together making it altogether a more social experience.
